How Does the 1.5 HP Three Phase Aluminum Motor Operate?
Three-phase alternating current (AC) electricity is used by commercial warehouses and facilities to operate hardware and equipment. We offer a large selection of three phase aluminum electric motors that are engineered to operate on this type of power. The 1.5 HP Three Phase Aluminum Motor - Frame: 145T - RPM: 1800 is equipped with dependable stainless steel shafts and removable feet to meet your requirements. This three phase electric motor is integrated with a conduit box that can be adjusted by 90 degrees. In addition, each three phase electric motor in our catalog features a 40 degree Celsius temperature rating to meet the needs of your application.
How a Three Phase Aluminum Electric Motor Works
The electricity in three-phase alternating current (AC) power is out of phase. The waves in this type of electricity are never at the same point at a specified time. Alternating current (AC) electricity transforms from a negative state to a positive state and back a variety of times a second.
The 1.5 HP Three Phase Aluminum Electric Motor - Frame: 145T - RPM: 1800 is equipped with a stator that is engineered to spin the rotor. The stator is a component that includes a ring and three sets of electric coils that are uniformly installed around the rotor. On the other hand, the rotor is a component that features a circular distribution of rings and bars.
Each set of coils in the stator are integrated to a single phase of electricity. A magnetic field rotates around the stator because the electricity is out of phase. The creation of the magnetic field causes a current to form within the interior of the rotor. However, the current is not evenly integrated with the magnetic field in the stator. This causes the current to chase the moving field. As a result, the rotor will spin in a circular fashion when the motor is activated.
