At Phoenix Phase Converters, we’ve built our reputation over two generations by doing one thing exceptionally well – designing rotary phase converters that are made to last. They are built for simplicity and engineered with features that truly matter, especially in remote and demanding environments like deep-water pumping systems.

Let’s take a closer look at how our Dual Zone Phase Converter system can make your setup easier, more reliable, and save you a considerable amount of money in the long run.

Built to Last. Designed to Keep It Simple.

While other manufacturers pursue whistles and bells, we are dedicated to providing what really matters. Here is why TEFC motors are better than ODP ones.

  • Industrial-quality Cast Iron Frames

  • Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) Motors that are geared towards eliminating dust and water intrusion

  • Clean internal wire layouts for durability and serviceability

  • NEMA 4 enclosures, one step beyond the basic NEMA 3 design, protecting from dust, rain, and hose-down environments

Every aspect is selected keeping in mind the field – easy installs, low maintenance, and long-term durability.

Built-In Autolink: Intelligent Power-Up Without the Guesswork

One of the greatest benefits is our built-in Autolink system. It is a smart sequencing module that performs the following functions.

  • Automatically connects/disconnects the transformer in the proper sequence

  • Reduces user error, backfeed, and load-on-startup faults

  • Fully automates the startup process (no technician on-site is necessary)

With or without a timer on irrigation or pumping from a remote site, Autolink makes it effortless. You simply need to set it and forget it.

Fail-Safe Protection, Not Failure-Prone Design

There is a two-layer protection built into every unit. Here is a brief explanation of redundant protection provided by our Dual Zone Phase Converters.

  1. Generated Phase Monitoring

A timer kills the startup if the generated leg does not reach voltage within 1.5 seconds. But if that relay fails? The converter still runs. Our systems are designed to default to “on,” so you’re never offline unless absolutely necessary.

  1. Dual-Stage Start Circuit

We time the start capacitors with both a potential relay and a backup timer relay. If either of them fails, the other safely disconnects the caps, saving the start circuit and extending component life.

We employ locally sourced, non-proprietary components, with no waiting on obscure parts. We also offer optional 2–5 year insurance protection against lightning, labor, and surge events.

Why Dual Zone Is the Smarter Solution for Dual Pump Systems

If you're operating two 15 HP deep submersible pumps, you may have to install two separate 30 HP converters. But there’s a smarter way.

Our suggestion is to install our 30/60 HP Dual Zone Phase Converter, which combines two generator motors into one smart control panel.

Key Benefits

  • More powerful starts and improved voltage balance for each pump

  • Longer motor lifespan and smoother operation

  • Lower cost than buying two standalone converters

  • One backup control panel covers both motors; swap it if needed

  • Built-in Autolink automates transformer control and reduces user errors

In just a few quick connections, you’re up and running with a robust, redundant, and cost-effective power system that is built for the real world.

Ready to Power Your Next Project?

Working in tough environments like deep walls, long distances, or remote pump stations? Do not accept patched-together systems. Go with a phase converter designed to work harder, last longer, and make life easier.
