Install the converter near your equipment or electrical panel. The unit can be mounted indoors or outdoors (NEMA 4 rated enclosure). Ensure adequate ventilation around the idler motor.

Connect two hot wires (L1, L2) from your single-phase breaker to the converter's input terminals. Use the correct wire gauge for your converter size — see our wire size reference.

Run the provided wires from the converter panel to the idler motor. Follow the wiring diagram in your installation manual for proper lead connections. See our motor lead connection guide.

Connect three hot wires (L1, L2, L3) from the converter's output to your equipment or three-phase sub-panel.

Turn on the converter and verify voltage balance across all three phases. You should see balanced voltage (within 2-3%) on the voltage display.
