The DualZone uses two precision-balanced idler motors to generate substantially more three-phase power from the same single-phase service. Where a standard single-idler converter may lose efficiency under heavy loads, the DualZone's dual-motor design maintains cleaner voltage balance and more usable horsepower at the output — especially on demanding loads like CNC spindles, compressors, and multiple simultaneous machines.
Yes. The DualZone is built for exactly that. Multiple three-phase machines can run simultaneously off a single DualZone phase converter — fed through a three-phase sub-panel just like utility three-phase service. Most shops wire the DualZone to a sub-panel and run every machine in the shop from it.
The dual-idler design generates a more stable, better-balanced third phase — particularly under load. Single-idler phase converters can experience voltage imbalance as load increases. The DualZone's second idler motor provides additional generation capacity, improving voltage balance and delivering cleaner power to your equipment across the entire load range.
