What the upgrade actually is

The Tier 3 free upgrade lets a Phoenix dealer quote and bill the customer for an NL-class rotary converter, then order and ship an equivalent-HP PL, NLA, or DualZone at the dealer's invoice price. Phoenix absorbs the price spread. The customer receives a converter that is one tier above what they paid for — bigger capacity, tighter voltage balance, or two independent zones depending on the upgrade path chosen.
This is not a bait-and-switch. The customer is always told which model they're receiving. The pitch — and it's a strong one on the close — is that because you're a Phoenix dealer, you can put the better unit on their floor for the price they budgeted. It is the single most effective close we've seen a dealer run in the field.
